This is 30!

Big birthday on my side today! I am not going to tell you that 30 is the new 20 or anything like that, simply because I don't believe that. Each age has its own benefits. I loved my twenties and even if the Peter Pan in us, tells us that growing up is boring and not something to look out for, the best thing is when you realise that you are already there. Your 20s were about growing up, and your 30s are about making the best of that. And here are my 30 reasons that make sitting at the grown up table feel like a walk in the park.

Suits Fashion

Do you know how sometimes you watch a TV show and you can't stop because it is so cool? Well, it happened again, this time with Suits. We are completely addicted. Since we managed to watch ten episodes in one day, I got so hooked up on the fashion that I was inspired to wear one of my office dresses. I love how the ladies wear fitted dresses, pencil skirts and heels that are a girl's dream. Oh and let's not forgot that men in suits are hot. Did I get your attention?! Friday concert mood on!

Quick update from my world! I am over the moon with excitement since today we are going to see Robbie Williams in concert. Do you like Robbie? I have been dreaming of this concert ever since I was a teenager and I have the highest expectations...Robbie, no pressure! :) I even have my look picked out! Check it out!

One Sunday afternoon in Lindau

This Sunday we decided to take a day trip to Lindau, on the Bodensee lake in Germany. We seem to be incapable to just stay in, when the sun is shining and there are so many nice places just around the corner. Also I have found my perfect Sunday activity. Flipping through American Elle while enjoying a cup of coffee on a nice terrace can be the ultimate form of relaxation especially after a crazy Saturday (we went to a day party and then street parade in Zurich). Lindau was just perfect, a much needed change of scenery after the madness that was Zurich this weekend. And the city is beautiful, with the promenade around the lake, the port and the small streets that make it so special. Worth a visit, if you are in the area.

The Kate Middleton dress

Well, I have a thing for dresses, you got me! The one from today is special because it makes me think of my mother. She is not a big dress fan, but in her younger years she always chose the very simple ones with a cut that would accentuate the waist. So when I saw this dress in a small store in Romania, I loved it. A nice polka dress with a zipper in the back is just adorable, especially if the same model was worn by Kate Middleton. When I bought it, I didn't realise it was one of the Kate dresses, but then when I wore it first, it hit me. This is so Kate's style, (look at me, talking about her like she is my best friend) that a simple google search revealed I was on to something.

Friday Mindset

Yesterday was Switzerland's National Day and we made a trip to Seeli Lake near Luzern. Like always, we were amazed by how beautiful the scenery is. If you are ever in doubt in which season to visit Switzerland, don't be! It's definitely in Summer time that this country blooms and looks its best. And today is our favourite weekday and I am already feeling so happy. Any plans for this weekend? I am having a day to myself in the city on Saturday while Traian is at a work thing. And in the evening, it's sushi time with friends. So looking forward to that! And now, my latest obsessions.
